BUILDING SIGHT INITIATIVE

Eyeclectic has teamed up with Cardel Homes and the Calgary YWCA in providing pro-bono optometry/optical services and no-cost spectacles to Calgary women and children in urgent need.

The YWCA Mary Dover House provides transitional housing to homeless women and their children. Taking care of their eyesight is often not a priority for them but the Building Sight program, sponsored by Eyeclectic and Cardel Homes, ensures that they get the services and eyewear that they need. The YWCA counsellors help the women and their children move from a place of dependence to independence with the Building Sight program.
